2. Abbreviation for the Latin word statim, "immediately."
3. An abbreviation of the Latin statim, "immediately", often used in medical contexts.
4. Accronym for “Sooner than already there” or “Short turnaround time.” Thought to be used widely during WW1 in the medical field.
